Marking |
Drawing characters, symbols, or pictures on the surface of an object regardless of the method |
Air Pen |
A pen which has its tip (stylus) vibrated by compressed air and indents the surface of an object to mark characters |
Ultrasonic Pen |
A pen which has its tip (stylus) vibrated by the vibration of ultrasonic transducer and indents the surface of an object to mark characters |
Character String |
A set of characters |
Programmable Characters |
The number of characters which can be programmed in the control section. The characters selected from these can be marked. |
Programmable Character Group |
The maximum number of character groups which is created by combining any characters programmed, and is saved in the control section. |
Character Direction |
The direction of characters marked without rotating an object |
Circular Marking |
The circular character strings marked without rotating an object |
Increment |
The action or process of increasing 001→002→003… |
Stylus |
A vibrating pointed instrument at the tip of a marking pen (expendable). Originally, it touches the surface of an object. |
Nose |
A part holding the stylus of a making pen |
N (Newton) |
The unit of force. 9.8N = 1kg |
R Surface |
The round surface. Abbreviation for “Radius surface”. |
Hand Stamp |
A rectangular (sometimes ring-shaped) piece of metal with a character engraved on one end. It is held against the object to be marked, while striking the opposite end with a hammer. |
Metal Marking |
Indenting characters, symbols, etc. on the surface of an object by stamping a hand stamp or punch. Our marking machines use “Dot Marking” method. |
